CECTLI

 I was teased for being an Albino in School.... what's worse  a Mexican-American albino.

I spent time with my Uncle Goyo and Uncle Cuco. (Gregorio and Refugio). Dad had me help them with their 10  acres of corn, squash, pumpkins and watermelon. 

It kept me busy. They called me CECTLI which is Nahuatl for Snow. 

The kids called me Snowy,  Snow Joe, Snowflake, Snowboy or Frosty.  

Orla called Luis Angel Macias. My full name. Why? She's an Irish exchange student. I suppose that's why.

Uncle Goyo would go missing. He left a laptop with me.

I was allowed to read the contents. 

Pingo was a gang leader. He was providing killers for the government.  Some government psychopath called Mouse was recruiting. It turns out he was the recruiter. All sorts of supernasty stuff.

One day Uncle Cuco asked me to look for the egg of a Garza....a heron. He told me if I found one and an egg I would be granted the power of Invisibility.

We are country folk...farmworkers.. superstitious to the hilt.  It took me a week....and I found the nest and an egg. It worked! I have the power of Invisibility!

Uncle Cuco revealed that as a Curandero which is a folk healer he had discerned I was a Nahual.. a shape shifter.  It turns out Uncle Cuco is one too.

He would help me learn about my gift. We would communicate telepathically.

I would be able to  turn into a ball of energy and a laser. Red colored or blue.

Tio Cuco informed me my greatest weakness would be sorrow and doubt.

I would soon find out Mouse was my arch nemesis.  He would hunt for me in hopes of recruiting me into the army of government assassins. 

I would win  a small fortune via a lottery ticket which would allow me to travel in my high tech motorhome.

I would go about helping people.  I would adopt the Curandero Code Of Pay. I do not charge. You can give a little.

I would add that they should in turn  help someone.

While this was going on brujas aka witches and psychics searched for me.

Uncle Cuco helped with training and advice. 

I would call myself "Angel Snowe. No superhero costume....just the ability to shift into another person , ball of energy or laser beam.
